Bio
Born in 1987 on the North-East coast of England in Scarborough, Laura L Bell lives and works in London, UK. She studied BA Art Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London (UK), graduating in 2010, and at Turps Art School in London as part of the Off-Site Programme (2023-25)
In 2025 Bell was long-listed for the John Moores Painting Prize, and won the Lido Open, Margate, selected by Kristen Healy and Sophie von Hellerman and leading to her solo show "A black cloud held lightly" in Summer 2026.
